I began my work in the trades in 2006 at the age of 16. Completing 4 years of construction classes, focusing solely on plumbing the last 2 years.
In 2007 and 2008 I competed as a plumber in SkillsUSA. SkillsUSA is a competitive contest for the trades among other things like being a good member of society and a proper businessman. In 2007 I won best in the state of California qualifying me to compete nationally where I placed 10th in the nation. In 2008 I returned and placed 1st in the nation beating all the other states bringing home gold for California in the plumbing category. The prize for first in the nation was a full scholarship to WyoTech trade school, which unfortunately I did not use, and over $5k worth of tools related to the plumbing trade. The tools I used almost immediately! Acquiring my first job as a plumbing apprentice at the age of 18.
Since my days as an apprentice, I have worked for 4 different plumbing companies/organizations from the beaches of San Luis Obispo to the frozen high desert in Susanville and most recently the beautiful Chico where I have called home for the last 8 years. The vast knowledge and experiences I have gathered working for the last 17 years plumbing all over our state is invaluable to me.
Now I use these skills, experiences, and knowledge to service our community providing the best plumbing experience.
